If you were in Billings over the weekend the smell is definitely in the air.

The sugar beet factory is moving full steam ahead preparing for this year's Harvest.

The official sugar beet harvest starts Tuesday.

Western Sugar Cooperative is expecting a truckload of sugar beets every eight minutes at its plant here in Billings with 15 trucks running 24-7.

Taylor Brown with the Northern Ag Network says this year could be one of the top two or three harvests.
