SUGAR LAND, Texas (AP) Imperial Sugar Co., a processor and marketer of refined sugar, said Friday it ratified a new three-year contract with the local union representing workers at its Gramercy, Louisiana facility.

The company said the contract lasts through Feb. 1, 2011.

Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

About 190 workers are employed at the Gramercy cane refinery plant.
